Only download Odin from this official website or our verified GitHub/Discord. Other websites using the Odin name may distribute modified or unsafe files.
Where official downloads come from
Official releases are published on this site at odinclient.dev, as GitHub releases at github.com/odtheking/Odin/releases, and on Modrinth. We do not use third-party mirrors, and we do not ask you to disable antivirus software.
How to verify the SHA-256 checksum

Compare the output against the checksum in the release details above. If it doesn't match exactly, delete the file. A matching checksum means the file is byte-identical to what we published — nothing more, and nothing less.
How to identify the legitimate site
Check the address bar reads odinclient.dev, and cross-check our GitHub and Discord links against the footer.
Category names and module counts are not a test of authenticity, and we won't pretend otherwise: Odin's own "Floor 7" category was renamed to "Boss" in the source, so older screenshots, videos and guides legitimately show a category this site no longer lists. The module count moves with almost every release for the same reason. Judge a download by its checksum and its link to the source repository — not by whether its feature list matches today's.
Treat as untrustworthy: any site with no published checksum, no link to the source repository, pressure to disable security software, or a request for your Minecraft account credentials. Odin never asks for an account or a login.
What this website collects
One anonymous page-view event per page load — the path, the referrer's domain, a UTC timestamp and an environment label — sent to a private Discord channel. No IP addresses, no user-agent strings, no cookies, no fingerprinting. Full detail on the Privacy page.
What the mod collects
Odin's Click GUI module exposes configurable API endpoints used by some features (a Hypixel API proxy and a websocket endpoint) — these are visible as settings in the mod itself. Beyond documenting that those settings exist, we don't make claims about the mod's network behaviour that we haven't verified in source; the repository is public if you want to audit it yourself.
Reporting a fake site or a malicious file
Report impersonating sites or modified builds in the official Discord. Include the URL and, if you have it, the file's SHA-256.
Reporting a security issue in Odin
Report privately via a GitHub security advisory on the repository rather than posting details publicly first.
What we don't claim
We do not describe Odin as virus-free, "100% safe", undetectable, or unbannable. There is no independent security audit, and no reproducible-build or signed-release process to point to — if that changes, this page will say so and link to the evidence.
